I heard the government agency of Consumer Credit Counseling changed it’s name to Credibility. Can you confirm this is true and tell me when exactly that change took place.

On May 26, 2010 Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Atlanta changed its name to CredAbility. However their website has been down since then and its not clear what’s going on there now.

It depends. CCC can be a good thing, but only if you go through an established, professional firm that is recognized by organizations like the Better Business Bureau, your local chamber of commerce, etc.
